RTN Broadcasting

Privacy Policy

How we handle your data.

Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how RTN Broadcasting (“RTN Broadcasting”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you visit rejectthenarrative.org and related pages (the “Site”). RTN Broadcasting is an independent media and gaming community brand based in Arizona, United States, established in 2021.

We try to collect as little as possible. This policy lays out what we do collect, why, who else is involved, and what choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Effective date: June 25, 2026

Information you provide to us

Some information only reaches us because you choose to send it. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Comments. If commenting is enabled and you leave a comment, WordPress stores the content of your comment along with the name and email address you enter, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. This helps with spam detection and moderation. Your name and comment are shown publicly; your email and IP address are not published.
  • Game-server request form. Our CS2 game-server request form runs on Microsoft Forms. When you submit it, the information you type into the form (such as your contact details and your request) is collected and processed by Microsoft on our behalf, and we receive the results so we can act on your request.
  • Direct contact. If you email us or reach out through a linked platform, we keep what you send so we can respond.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting environment records basic technical information when your browser requests a page. This log data is standard for running and securing a site and typically includes, but is not limited to:

  • Your IP address
  • Your browser type and version and your operating system
  • The pages you request and the date and time of each request
  • The referring page or source, where available

This information is generated and stored by our web host as part of normal server operation. We use it to keep the Site running, diagnose problems, and protect against abuse and attacks.

Embedded content from other websites

Some pages on the Site include embedded content, including, but not limited to, videos from YouTube (operated by Google) and Twitch (operated by Amazon). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website directly.

This means those third parties may collect data about you, set their own cookies, load additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your activity if you are logged in to an account with them. This happens when the page loads or when you play the embedded video, and it is controlled by YouTube/Google and Twitch/Amazon, not by us. We do not receive that data. Any information collected through embedded content is collected directly by those platforms under their own privacy policies and terms, and handling it is their responsibility, not ours. To understand what they collect, see the privacy policies of Google (YouTube) and Amazon (Twitch).

Cookies and analytics

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Our own use of cookies is minimal. WordPress may set a small number of functional cookies, for example to remember your details if you leave a comment, or to keep an administrator signed in. These are not used to track you across other sites.

As noted above, embedded content from YouTube and Twitch can set third-party cookies that are outside our control.

Analytics: At this time we do not run a third-party analytics service such as Google Analytics on the Site. If that changes, we will update this section to name the analytics provider we use, describe what it collects, and explain how you can opt out. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings, though some Site features may not work correctly if you do.

How we use your information

We use the limited information we collect for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • Publishing, displaying, and moderating comments
  • Responding to your game-server requests and other messages
  • Operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Site
  • Detecting and preventing spam, fraud, and abuse
  • Complying with our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Third-party services we use

Running the Site and our community involves a handful of outside services, including, but not limited to, the following. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles your data:

  • Bluehost · our web host, which runs the WordPress software and stores Site data and server logs
  • Google / YouTube · embedded video content
  • Amazon / Twitch · embedded video and livestream content
  • Microsoft Forms · processing CS2 game-server request submissions
  • Discord · our community server, which you reach through outbound links
  • Social and link platforms · Instagram, X, Beacons, and Steam Workshop, which you reach through outbound links

Each of these third parties collects and processes information under its own privacy policy and terms, for which that platform, and not RTN Broadcasting, is responsible. We encourage you to review their policies.

We also offer a live game-server status feature. It queries our own game server from our server to show whether it is online and basic public details. It does not collect any information about you as a visitor.

We do not currently sell any products on the Site. If we offer merchandise in the future, it will be handled off-site through an external platform such as Fourthwall, under that platform’s own terms and privacy policy. Any purchase information would be collected and processed by that platform, and not by us.

How long we keep data

We keep information only as long as there is a reason to:

  • Comments. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, unless you ask us to remove them.
  • Form submissions and direct messages. Kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted.
  • Server logs. Retained by our host for a limited period as part of normal operation and security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over your personal information. We honor valid requests regardless of where you are.

EU and UK visitors (GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If you have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, and request that we erase it, except where we must keep it for legal or security reasons.

California visitors (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of that information, and to correct inaccurate information. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details in the “Contact us” section below. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

The Site contains links to outside websites and platforms, including, but not limited to, Discord, Instagram, X, Beacons, and Steam Workshop. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Once you follow a link and leave our Site, this policy no longer applies. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.

International visitors

We operate the Site from the United States, and it is hosted and managed there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be handled this way.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the Site changes or as the law requires. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top. Significant changes may be noted on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
